Behind the Nest

I’ve loved art and painting for as long as I can remember. The Nest began almost by accident, when I painted a piece for my goddaughter after struggling to find the kind of timeless children’s gift I was looking for here in Kenya.

One painting soon grew into a collection of hand-painted children’s pieces, and when I stepped away from my teaching career I finally had the opportunity to grow The Nest further.

After ten years of calling Kenya home, it has become an endless source of inspiration. Today, I create original prints, stationery and personalised pieces inspired by its wildlife, botanicals and everyday beauty — pieces designed to be kept, treasured and gifted.
